Vetus PCRQ38 Removable Marine Seat Pedestal with Quick-Release Swivel, 380 mm
The Vetus PCRQ38 is a fixed-height, removable seat pedestal designed for marine installations where fast installation and removal of the seat post are required. It is similar in concept to the PCRQ33, but provides a taller seating height of 380 mm, making it suitable for a wider range of cockpit and deck layouts.
The pedestal features a quick plug-in system that allows the post to be installed or removed within seconds. This makes it ideal for boats with multiple seat locations, modular interiors, or stowable seating arrangements.
A full 360° swivel is integrated into the design and incorporates a 3° angled rotation for improved ergonomic comfort and natural seating orientation.
The recessed anodised aluminium base fits flush with the deck when the post is removed. This base is compatible with many commonly used mounting systems on the market and keeps the deck surface unobstructed.
Manufactured from corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium, the PCRQ38 is engineered for long-term use in demanding marine environments while remaining lightweight and compact.
Seat attachment uses hole pattern type S (127 × 127 mm). Always verify that the seat base matches this configuration before installation.
Certified according to ABYC H-31 (July 2020) as type B, the PCRQ38 is intended for seating while the vessel is stationary or operating at low speed.
