The Vetus PCQG5774C is a gas-assisted pedestal leg developed for the Vetus Quick Positioning seating system. It is designed for applications where seats are frequently installed, removed, or relocated, such as on fishing boats and modular cockpit layouts.
This model integrates a 360° swivel and provides smooth gas-assisted height adjustment between 570 and 740 mm. A fixed 3° angle is incorporated to improve seating ergonomics and natural orientation.
The pedestal leg features a very fast click connection to the base, allowing the entire seat assembly to be installed or removed within seconds. The modular concept of the Quick Positioning series enables flexible seating layouts by combining separate components: base, leg, and swivel.
Manufactured from anodised aluminium with chromed steel components, the PCQG5774C offers durability for inland and protected waters. Due to the chromed steel parts, use in salt water is not advised.
The system is designed for seats with hole pattern type S (127 × 127 mm). This component must be combined with a compatible Quick Positioning base to form a complete pedestal.
