The Vetus Marine Skai Upholstery Roll is a marine-grade synthetic leather developed for use in boat interiors and seating applications. Supplied in rolls measuring 5.0 × 1.37 meters, this material allows the complete boat interior to be matched to Vetus steering chairs or other upholstered elements on board.
The skai material is maintenance-free, waterproof, and UV resistant, making it ideal for continuous use in marine environments. It is easy to clean with a wet cloth and is designed to withstand exposure to sunlight, moisture, and everyday wear.
This vinyl is the same material used on all Vetus steering chairs and is also suitable for wall coverings and interior panels. The construction is based on a single jersey fabric with a PVC surface and has a material weight of 640 g/m².
The Marine Skai can be bonded using a variety of vinyl adhesives depending on the application surface. Suitable options include Casco Flex 3442 for larger areas and 3M spray adhesive for smaller or more complex jobs, subject to compatibility with the substrate.
