The Vetus CHSAILB2 Sailor is a modern helm seat designed to combine contemporary styling with enhanced comfort for everyday marine use. The extended backrest provides increased lumbar support, while the ergonomically shaped base and thicker cushions ensure firm and stable seating during long journeys and precise manoeuvring.
A subtle recess in the backrest promotes ventilation in the lower back area and visually reduces the overall bulk of the seat. Integrated armrests improve stability and comfort at the helm. The seat is upholstered in marine-grade imitation leather that is water-resistant, UV-resistant and easy to maintain, making it suitable for continuous use in demanding marine environments.
The anodised aluminium frame provides structural strength while maintaining a lightweight and modern appearance. Supplied without a pedestal, the seat is compatible only with pedestals featuring a slide system (hole pattern R). When installed externally, protective seat covers CCDS or CCSB can be used to keep the seat clean and protected against UV.
