The Vetus CHCOMCB Commander is a roomy and comfortable helm seat with a classic appearance, designed for larger yachts and motorboats. The high backrest and ergonomically shaped lateral supports provide stable body positioning during cruising and precise manoeuvring. The seat combines a refined visual style with a functional layout for active helming.
The front part of the seat can be folded up, allowing comfortable steering in standing or leaning positions. This flip-up squab enables smooth transition between seated and semi-standing operation and improves forward visibility. Armrests can be flipped up, and the hinges are manufactured from corrosion-resistant aluminium.
The seat is upholstered in marine-grade imitation leather that is water-resistant, UV-resistant and low maintenance. The orange brown (cognac) finish with white seams and diamond-stitched pattern provides a warm, classic appearance while remaining suitable for continuous marine use. The frame is made of stainless steel AISI 316.
