Vetus XHSH - Sensor for Exhaust Temperature Alarm to Fit Exhaust Hose
Safety first! Ensure the protection of your vessel's engine with the Vetus XHSH sensor designed for the exhaust temperature alarm system. In the event of a clogged cooling water system or damaged pump impeller, the exhaust temperature can rise rapidly, potentially leading to severe engine damage. Vetus recommends installing an exhaust gas temperature alarm that provides both acoustic and visual alerts when the exhaust hose or silencer temperature exceeds safe levels.

- Hole size for the sensor installation: Ø 52 mm, overall dimension 62 mm
- Installation depth: 40 mm
- Available for 12 or 24 volts
- Type XHSM for Vetus waterlocks with pre-installed connection
- Type XHSH for installation in the exhaust hose
Note:
- The temperature sensors and alarm indicators must be ordered separately.
- In a system with two engines, both sensors can be connected to an alarm indicator.
Fits directly into the exhaust hose length, ideally just after the engine exhaust elbow fitting. Complete with sealing O-ring.
