This Vetus gooseneck is designed to accommodate exhaust hoses with inner diameters of Ø 40, 45.51, or 60 mm, making it versatile for various marine applications. Engineered for compatibility with engines featuring exhaust manifolds of 57mm diameter, this gooseneck is perfectly suited for use with 60mm Vetus exhaust hoses and other 60mm components.
By elevating the exhaust hose above the waterline, the Vetus gooseneck effectively prevents water from backfilling the exhaust system, ensuring optimal performance and durability. After the engine is turned off, the design facilitates the drainage of cooling water to the lowest point of the system, typically where the waterlock is positioned.
