The Vetus SMTO224 is one of the smallest and lightest electric marine toilets available, making it perfectly suited for boats where space is limited or where an outdated manual toilet must be replaced. Despite its compact design, it is a solid floor-standing model with a high-quality porcelain bowl and a comfortable seat and lid. The toilet offers quiet operation, simple installation, and low maintenance requirements, delivering dependable onboard sanitation in a minimal footprint.
A super-quiet macerator rated at approximately 60 dB(A) powers the waste evacuation system, using durable AISI 316 stainless-steel blades. The combined pump and macerator assembly (Ø 96 mm) provides rapid discharge—typically in around seven seconds—while maintaining very low water consumption. The included waterproof electronic control panel offers ECO and NORMAL flush modes, as well as an evacuation-only function to prevent overflow on heeled sailing vessels.
