Vetus SAMOENS Silicone Cowl Ventilator Ø125 mm with Red Interior and Fixed Synthetic Ring
The Vetus SAMOENS cowl ventilator is manufactured from silicone rubber, an inorganic elastomer known for its durable structure, flexibility, and stability across extreme temperature variations. Operating effectively between -100°C and +200°C, silicone maintains consistent dynamic properties and does not discolour under UV exposure, ensuring a long-lasting, like-new appearance even in harsh marine climates.
The SAMOENS model is fitted with a fixed screwed-down synthetic ring, designated by the suffix “S,” providing secure installation while allowing the cowl to rotate or be removed by hand after loosening the knurled base ring. The interior is finished in red (RAL3020), maintaining the classic Vetus marine design. Optional accessories include a Monel mosquito screen and an AISI 316 stainless-steel cover plate for sealing the ventilator when required.
