The Vetus P14261 HWC2200 Hydraulics is part of the HWC Series, meticulously designed for automatic horizontal handling of chain-only anchor rods while providing an independent winch for hauling in a secondary rope and chain rod or assisting in docking operations. This hydraulic system boasts a range of features and benefits:
- Fully automatic chainring operation in one or two directions, optimized for use with chainrings.
- Functional front and rear rope pulling with an independent, knurled, snag-free stainless steel warp drum featuring sprocket clutch disengagement for positive control of all ropes.
- Optional dual-anchor handling with smooth independent control of each sprocket supplied via cone couplers.
- Chain tube assembly for streamlined operation.
- Cone-shaped clutch/brake mechanism for manual anchoring in 'free fall'. Cone clutches provide a smooth, progressive engagement ensuring safe and precise operator control. The sprocket pawl assists with independent warping drum use.
- Simple deck-mounted installation with no below-deck parts, simplifying maintenance by allowing the landing gear (sprocket and drum) to be removed without disturbing the windlass attachment.
