The Vetus BYPASS8 by-pass valve (article BYPASS8) enables quick emergency change-over to tiller steering in hydraulic steering systems. It is supplied with compression fittings and olives for Ø8 mm copper tubing, and is compatible with HS04N (6 × 8 mm) nylon hose when used with HS1011S sleeve inserts. Made of chromed brass with a removable painted steel handle, the valve is installed near the steering ram to release hydraulic pressure when required.
