The Vetus BP400S25 steel thruster tunnel is built for demanding marine installations requiring a 400 mm bow thruster mounting diameter. Constructed from high-strength P355 / St 52.0 steel, it provides mechanical durability and proper thruster alignment. The tunnel is internally and externally blasted to ensure clean surfaces for coating adhesion and finished with a 40 µm zinc phosphate primer to resist corrosion in marine conditions.
