The Vetus BL25/500 bronze stern tube features a mounting flange and an outer cutlass bearing at the rear, with slots designed for easy cutlass bearing replacement. Suitable for 25mm diameter shafts, it includes a propeller nut with an integrated zinc anode. Additionally, it offers two options for water lubrication: either through a water scoop with ball valve or by tapping water from the engine's cooling circuit, with a kit provided for the latter option.

Vetus BL25/500 - Bronze Stern Tube Ø 25 mm, L=500 mm

The rear of the bronze stern tube is provided with an outer cutlass bearing and a mounting flange. Inner flange (FLK) is also available. The slots in the tube are designed for easy replacement of the cutlass bearing.

Description: A bronze stern tube with mounting flange and one cutlass bearing aft. The slots in the tube are designed for easy replacement of the bearing, suitable for a 25mm diameter shaft. A propeller nut with integrated zinc anode comes as standard with the propeller shaft.

There are two options for water-lubrication of the shaft assemblies:
1. By means of a G⅜8” water scoop with ball valve, hose pillar, 1m of water hose and hose clamps (optional kit).
2. By tapping a small amount of water from the main engine’s raw water-cooling circuit. The kit consists of a T-piece(18-10-18mm), 3m of 10mm diameter hose (DWHOSE10A), and 4 hose clamps.
