The Parker 2614050133 is a membrane brine seal designed for 2-1/2" reverse osmosis membrane elements.
The seal is installed at one end of the membrane element and acts as a barrier that directs feed water through the membrane instead of allowing it to bypass around the outside. The open side of the U-cup must face upstream, toward the high-pressure pump.
Only one brine seal should be installed per membrane element.
