The Jabsco 82904-0092 is a Polypropylene HotShot HD4 series Marine Washdown Pump, offering reliable performance and durability. This model is rated up to 4 GPM with a 60 PSI shutoff and features standard size Snap-In Port fittings and 1/2 inch Straight Hosebarb fittings. It operates on a 12 Volt DC Motor.
The pump has been upgraded to the new version model # Q401J-118N-4A, which includes several enhancements. The HD (Heavy Duty) model now features a slightly wider diameter motor with a powder-coated shell and co-molded diaphragm technology for extended life. It also has cast aluminum endbells and lower housing, improving pressure capability and overall lifespan. The Pumphead and upper housing are made from glass fiber reinforced polypropylene, with a co-molded TPV Diaphragm and EPDM Check valves.
This pump is equipped with an integrated, sealed pressure switch for on-demand operation, shutting off at 60 PSI. The motor is a permanent magnet brushed type with a TENV (Totally Enclosed non-Ventilated) enclosure, providing IPX6 ingress protection. Vibration dampening mounting feet ensure quiet and efficient operation. A plastic housing protects the motor from corrosion, and the pump's self-priming capability of 7 feet allows for versatile installation. It can run dry without damage, providing exceptional performance in a compact design.
The maximum fluid temperature range is 32°F to 140°F (0°C to 60°C). Note that this pump is not submersible and should not be used for pumping gasoline or other flammable liquids.
