The Jabsco 82505-0092 Marine Washdown Pump is a top-of-the-line solution for marine washdown needs, designed for efficiency and durability. This model, part of the HotShot HD5 series, is engineered to deliver a high performance with a flow rate of up to 5 gallons per minute (GPM) and a shutoff pressure of 70 PSI. Equipped with Snap-In Port fittings and 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch Straight Hosebarb fittings, it connects seamlessly to your system. The pump operates on a 12 Volt DC motor and has been replaced by the newer P501J-119N-3A model. The updated Jabsco HD (Heavy Duty) pump features several enhancements over its predecessor. It includes a wider diameter motor with a powder-coated shell for added protection, co-molded diaphragm technology for extended durability, and cast aluminum endbells and lower housing to boost pressure capability. The materials used are Glass fiber reinforced polypropylene for the Pumphead and upper housing, along with a co-molded TPV Diaphragm and EPDM Check valves. This pump is designed for on-demand operation with an integrated, sealed pressure switch that shuts off at 70 PSI. It features a permanent magnet brushed motor within a TENV (Totally Enclosed non-Ventilated) enclosure, offering IPX6 ingress protection and vibration-dampening mounting feet. The pump operates efficiently and quietly, protected by a corrosion-resistant plastic housing. Its self-priming capability extends up to 7 feet, providing flexible installation options and the ability to run dry without damage. The Jabsco 82505-0092 operates effectively within a fluid temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit (0 to 60 degrees Celsius). Please note, this pump is not submersible and should not be used to pump gasoline or other flammable liquids.
