The Jabsco 31700-0092 is a high-performance marine washdown pump designed for durability and efficiency. It features the HotShot HD4 series with a maximum flow rate of 4 GPM and a shutoff pressure of 60 PSI. This pump comes with standard Snap-In Port fittings and 1/2 inch Straight Hosebarb fittings, and operates on a 12 Volt DC Motor.

Replaced by the new Q401J-118N-3A model, the Jabsco 31700-0092 has been superseded by an updated version featuring enhanced specifications. The new HD (Heavy Duty) model boasts a wider diameter motor with a powder-coated shell, co-molded diaphragm technology for improved longevity, and cast aluminum endbells and lower housing to boost pressure capability and lifespan. The pumphead and upper housing are constructed from glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene, complemented by a co-molded TPV diaphragm and EPDM check valves.

Equipped with an integrated sealed pressure switch for on-demand operation and a shut-off pressure of 60 PSI, this pump offers reliable performance. Its permanent magnet brushed motor is housed in a TENV (Totally Enclosed non-Ventilated) enclosure with IPX6 ingress protection and vibration-dampening mounting feet, ensuring quiet and efficient operation. The motor is shielded by a plastic housing to prevent corrosion, and the pump features a self-priming capability of 7 feet, allowing versatile installation options. It can run dry without sustaining damage, providing exceptional performance in a compact design.

The pump is suitable for fluid temperatures ranging from 32 degrees F to 140 degrees F (0 degrees C to 60 degrees C) but is not submersible. It is important to note that this pump should not be used for pumping gasoline or other flammable liquids.
