Operating between 45 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit, it is not suitable for flammable liquids like gasoline or solvents.

Jabsco 30570-5005 is a 316 Stainless Steel Flexible Impeller Pump with a Neoprene Impeller, Food grade Nitrile/Carbon/Ceramic Mechanical Seal, 1-1/2 Inch Sanitary Clamp Type Ports, close coupled to a 5 Horsepower, 1750 RPM, 230/460 Volts, 3 Phase, TEFC, 60HZ Motor. These Hygienic flexible impeller pumps are especially useful where self-priming is required and are also very effective in pumping viscous or air-entrained food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. At lower speeds, they also handle delicate liquids very well owing to their gentle pumping action. Virtually any liquid with viscousity up to 20,000 cps can be pumped as long as there is chemical compatibility with the pump materials. These pumps offer unique capabilities which are either not available or costly to acquire with other pumps. Primes at low or high speeds. For vertical dry suction lift of 10 feet, a minimum of 860 RPM is required. Pump will produce suction lift up to 22 feet when wet. The operating temperature limits of the pump depend on the impeller compound. The following ranges apply: Neoprene - 45 degrees to 150 degrees F (7 degrees to 65 degrees C)

Do not pump gasoline, solvents, thinners or other flammable liquids.
