The Jabsco 30570-1005 is a high-performance pedestal pump crafted from 316 stainless steel, featuring a flexible impeller and a Neoprene impeller. This pump is equipped with a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal and includes 1-1/2 inch clamp type ports. Note that this model is provided as a bare shafted pedestal pump end only, without a motor. It stands out for its unique capabilities that are often costly or unavailable with other pumps.
Designed for hygienic applications, this flexible impeller pump is ideal for self-priming and efficiently handles viscous or air-entrained liquids such as food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical products. At lower speeds, it is gentle enough for delicate liquids due to its smooth pumping action. The pump can manage liquids with viscosities up to 20,000 cps, provided there is compatibility with the pump materials.
Self-priming capabilities allow the pump to operate effectively at both low and high speeds. It can achieve a vertical dry suction lift of up to 10 feet with Neoprene at a minimum of 860 RPM and can produce a suction lift up to 22 feet when the pump is wet.
The temperature range for operation depends on the impeller compound used. For Neoprene, the pump operates efficiently within a temperature range of 45 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit (7 to 65 degrees Celsius). The flow rate is approximately 55 US gallons per minute (208 liters per minute) at 1750 RPM.
