- Do not run dry for more than 30 seconds; lack of liquid can damage the impeller and pump components.
- Suction lines must be airtight or the pump will not self-prime.
- To avoid pump damage, do not use petroleum-based anti-freeze compounds or rust inhibitors.
- Do not pump light fraction petroleum derivatives, solvents, thinners, or highly concentrated or organic acids; pump damage may result.
