This higher flow version of the Ballast Puppy can pump up to 15 GPM (57 LPM), adding up to 125 pounds of ballast water per minute. Its reversible design ensures seamless operation in both directions.
Notable features of the Jabsco 22610-9507 include self-priming capability and a dry-run impeller. The maximum ambient temperature for operation is 60°C (140°F), with a minimum of -15°C (5°F). The pump should be installed in a location where the motor is shielded from constant rain, washdown, or bilge water, and it should not be run with a closed outlet.
The pump body can be rotated 180 degrees relative to the motor to change the flow direction. It is designed for use with specific products, including fresh and saltwater solutions, but should not be used with petrol, petroleum products, or any substances with a flash point below 37°C.
