Lewmar Swing Retractable Bow Thrusters
The Lewmar Swing Retractable Bow Thruster range combines the proven performance of Lewmar TT thrusters with a retractable installation system developed for sailing yachts and performance vessels. When deployed, the thruster delivers powerful, balanced thrust in both directions for precise manoeuvring. When retracted, the unit sits flush inside the hull to minimise underwater drag and preserve sailing performance.
The patented shortened-pin mechanism reduces the required installation space while allowing maximum propeller immersion. Every Swing Thruster features a durable fibreglass construction, an integrated mounting flange that can be adapted to different hull shapes, and automatic self-retraction after approximately five minutes of inactivity.
