The Vetus BOW3512D Bow Thruster is equipped with a special fire fighting version designed to ensure safety when using a gasoline engine and an electric fore or aft PU simultaneously. This protective device complies with the ISO 8846 Marine Standard ("fire fighting version") and includes a watertight (IP65) casing for an electric motor and relay, seals, electrical connectors, and fasteners. It also features an automatic fuse replacement mechanism, eliminating the need to remove the protective casing. Fire fighting versions are available for nose tilting units with thrust ratings of 55, 75, 95, and 125 kgf for both 12V and 24V systems and can also be used as feed PUs with appropriate mounting kits.
