The Max-Prop Boomerang is an advanced shaft-position propeller designed specifically for modern sailboats with hydraulic transmissions. As soon as no torque is applied to the propeller shaft, the blades automatically move into the shaft position, minimizing drag and improving sailing performance.
Unique Patented Technology
Max-Prop engineers developed a patented radial spring package integrated into the Boomerang body. This spring system automatically pushes the blades into their default vane position when the engine is idling or switched off, regardless of shaft rotation or boat speed.
