Vetus CCHOSE16 Hose for Closed Heating and Cooling Systems Ø16 mm
The Vetus CCHOSE16 is a professional-grade hose designed for the circulation of water and coolant in closed heating and cooling systems on yachts and small craft. Typical applications include air conditioning, central heating, and combined climate control installations.
The hose is manufactured from black EPDM rubber with very low permeability, reinforced by four plies of synthetic textile fabric. This construction ensures reliable performance under both suction and pressure, while maintaining flexibility for routing through confined spaces. The outer cover is made from heat-, ozone-, and oil-resistant EPDM rubber, providing long-term durability in marine environments.
For heating and cooling systems, the hose is recommended for continuous operation in the temperature range from +3 °C to +80 °C. The overall material specification allows use between –40 °C and +120 °C. When used in air-conditioning systems, a rigid polyethylene-rubber insulation sleeve is supplied and must be installed to prevent condensation on the hose surface.
