TruDesign 90° Female Thread Hose Tail fittings are engineered for secure right-angle hose connections to male threaded marine plumbing components. Manufactured from glass-reinforced nylon composite, these fittings provide exceptional strength, stiffness, toughness, and dimensional stability for demanding onboard installations.

The advanced composite construction eliminates the corrosion and electrical bonding problems associated with metallic fittings while significantly reducing weight. High-modulus glass fibres impregnated into the nylon composite ensure long-term durability and reliable performance in harsh marine environments.

The 90° female thread configuration provides flexible hose routing in confined installation spaces while maintaining dependable flow characteristics. Tail hose barb fittings are specifically designed for twin hose clamp installation and engineered to resist crushing under high load conditions.

Parallel BSP and NPS thread compatibility ensures universal installation with TruDesign fittings and other common marine plumbing components. When directly connected to a Skin Fitting or Thru Hull, these fittings are suitable for above-waterline installations only. For below-waterline applications, ISO and ABYC standards require a TruDesign Ball Valve to be fitted directly to the Skin Fitting or Thru Hull.
