Victron Energy Skylla TG Battery Charger 24/48V

Skylla-TG Chargers are ideal chargers that allow you to accurately set the charge voltage for any type of battery (sealed or filled batteries). Chargers (with the exception of 3-phase models) allow connection to the quality of the power supply, both ACin alternating and DCin constant input voltage. The chargers (except for 48V models) have one full output to charge the main battery and one output (4A) to charge the starter battery.

Charge Control
Each Skylla TG charger has a microprocessor that precisely controls the 3-stage battery charging process having an IUoUo charging characteristic.
Use as power supply:
As a result of a completely stabilized output voltage, chargers can be used as a DC source, for example, when the battery is not available.

Extended Battery Life: Temperature Compensation
Each Phoenix charger comes with a temperature sensor. When the battery temperature increases, the charge voltage will automatically decrease. This feature is especially recommended for sealed batteries.
Correct Charge Voltage: Sensor Input Battery Voltage
In order to compensate for voltage loss due to cable resistance, Phoenix chargers are provided with an input for sensing the battery voltage. This allows the charger to adjust the output voltage so that the battery always receives the correct charge voltage.

Skylla-TG Chargers 24V with Universal Input (90-265 VAC)
These models will function normally within the input voltage range of 90 - 265V (50 or 60Hz) AC or 90 - DC 400V.

The chargers were approved by Germanischer Lloyd (GL) for Environmental Category C and EMC 1. Permission for GL C, EMC1 means that the chargers also comply with IEC 60945-2002, the category of "protected" and "equipment installed on the bridge of the ship." GL certification applies to AC 185-265V input voltage.
