The Andersen E1 Electric Winch facilitates the hoisting and trimming of sails effortlessly with the push of a button, eliminating the need for physical exertion and enabling all crew members to manage lines and sails comfortably and safely, whether sailing solo or with companions.
Engineered with exceptional functionality, monitoring, and protection, Andersen E1 Electric Winches offer a host of standard features that have established Andersen self-tailing winches as the epitome of quality and performance.
Installation is made simple with internal contactors and controllers, negating the necessity for a separate control box, resulting in a more reliable, tidier, and lighter setup. Electrical installation is streamlined, requiring only the connection of positive and negative power cables to the motor terminals and the attachment of the push button via the provided output cable. Marine-grade circuit breakers are also available for added protection and isolation.
The E1 winches come equipped with an illuminated "intelligent" push button featuring an integrated LED that lights up when power is supplied to the winch system. Designed with a hinged safety cover to prevent accidental winch operation, the push button boasts a water-resistant rating of IP67. Moreover, it collaborates with the controller to display status codes through flashing lights, aiding troubleshooting in the event of overload or other system protection interventions. The installation is made convenient with the inclusion of a cable for connecting the push button.
Models are available with a range of 28 to 72. Drum sizes vary from 70 mm to 142 mm. Weight options range from 18 kg to 42 kg.
