The PSP Main Tales are permanent wind indicator strips developed specifically for trimming the mainsail. Installed at regular intervals along the leech, they provide a visual indication of airflow, allowing precise sail trim when sailing upwind or on a reach.
Working on the same principle as tell tales fitted to genoa luffs, the Main Tales help improve sail efficiency and boat performance. Each kit contains self-adhesive Dacron mounting discs together with ripstop nylon strips for quick installation.

Directions for Use
- Ensure the sail surface is clean and dry.
- Remove the backing paper from a self-adhesive Dacron disc.
- Position one end of the nylon strip beneath the disc and press firmly to ensure a secure bond.
- Install the Main Tales at equal intervals along the leech of the mainsail.
- Trim the nylon strips to the required length if necessary.
- Ensure the strips fly horizontally for accurate airflow indication.
