PSP Spray Stop Marine Flange Protection Tape – IMO Compliant Spray Shield Tape, 25 mm × 1 m (2 Rolls)
The PSP Spray Stop Tape is a specialised marine safety tape developed to minimise the risk of dangerous liquid spray from pipe flanges and mechanical joints. It provides a simple, cost-effective and flexible preventative solution that helps improve safety within engine rooms and machinery spaces while meeting IMO requirements.
Manufactured from a glass and aluminium foil laminate with a high-performance silicone adhesive, the tape withstands temperatures up to 200°C and is suitable for protecting fuel, oil, hot water and cold water pipe connections against spray-out hazards.
Designed for rapid installation, Spray Stop Tape is intended as a preventative safety measure rather than a repair product. It is commonly used to help comply with SOLAS Regulation II-2/15.2.11 concerning the prevention of flammable liquid spray from pressurised systems.
