The Harken SnubbAir Winch redefines what you might expect from a typical winch. Designed initially for the unique deck layout of the J/70, it offers functionality beyond a standard winch. It can serve as a ratcheting foot, cheek block, or line diverter, providing significant line-holding power without a winch handle. Ideal for boats where spinnakers demand extra control, it allows easy jibes by simply flipping the sheet off the drum. Additional holding power is achievable by wrapping the sheet twice or using a winch handle with the optional adapter.
- Comes with four integral threaded studs that match the B8A winch bolt pattern on the J/70 deck.
- Complete installation, including all washers and Nylok® nuts, takes less than 10 minutes.
- Smaller and lighter than traditional winches, yet delivers strong holding power.
- Features a ratchet-like mechanism with one gear, allowing a spi bolt to be wrapped for one or two turns.
