Depending on diameter, it uses 16-plaited or 24-plaited construction and is available in White, Black, Red and Blue variants. Diameters range from 3 to 12 mm, with breaking loads from 40 to 410 daN and reel lengths of 100 or 200 m.

Talamex Shock Cord is a highly elastic cord constructed with a wear-resistant polyester cover and a white latex rubber core. The combination provides elasticity together with a durable outer surface for repeated use.
The range includes multiple diameters and colors, with construction adapted to the cord diameter. Versions from Ø3 to 8 mm use a 16-plaited construction, while Ø10 to 14 mm use a 24-plaited construction.
