Plastimo Blackgear is a high-tenacity polyester mooring line manufactured from multifilament polyester with a 3-strand construction. The rope is thermally fixed and designed for demanding mooring applications where strength, abrasion resistance and durability are required.

Blackgear provides significant resistance to breakage and abrasion and receives a special treatment to improve resistance against UV exposure and hydrocarbons. The polyester construction has a density of 1.38 and is supplied in black on 100 m reels.
