The Gottifredi Maffioli Dyneema® Chafe Sleeve is a black 48-plait Dyneema® protective cover designed to provide excellent abrasion resistance at high-wear points such as mast sheaves and other rope contact areas. Supplied in 50 m reels, the sleeve is available for rope diameters from 6 mm to 18 mm and is intended as external chafe protection. Not suitable for use in rope clutches or stoppers.

Gottifredi Maffioli Dyneema® Chafe Sleeve – 48-Plait Protective Cover, 50 m Reel, for 6-18 mm Rope Cores
The Gottifredi Maffioli Dyneema® Chafe Sleeve is a high-strength protective cover manufactured from Dyneema® fibers. Designed as an external abrasion sleeve, it provides additional protection at locations where ropes are exposed to concentrated wear.
The 48-plait construction offers excellent resistance against chafing and friction, making it suitable for protecting ropes at mast sheaves, fairleads, and other high-load contact points. The sleeve is supplied without a core and is intended exclusively as protective covering.
Important: This Dyneema® sleeve is not suitable for use in rope clutches, rope stoppers, or similar holding devices.
