Optiparts EX2600 is an inflatable mast float designed to reduce the risk of inversion (turtling) in small dinghies, improving safety during sailing.
The float features a clean, lightweight construction made from a single fabric layer with two internal inflatable tubes. This design ensures minimal interference with sail handling and allows smooth hoisting through the sail track.
The mast float is installed by sliding it into the sail track and securing it using the eyelets located at the top and bottom. Once fully inflated, it measures 105 cm in length, while its compact foldable design allows it to be stored at just 18 × 27 cm.
The float is inflated manually and is intended for small dinghies only. It helps reduce inversion risk but does not guarantee complete prevention.
