Optiparts EX1080 – Optimist Top Cover with Battens
The Optiparts EX1080 is a high-quality protective top cover designed to safeguard Optimist dinghy hulls during storage and transport. Manufactured from durable grey 600D PVC ripstop polyester, it offers excellent resistance to wear and environmental exposure.
The cover features two integrated sail battens within the top panel. When the webbing straps attached to both ends of each batten are tensioned, the cover forms a tented shape. This design helps prevent water accumulation and improves ventilation.
Padded panels on the front, back, and sides fold around the hull corners, providing comprehensive protection against impacts, abrasion, and handling damage.
