Optiparts 652800 - Carbon T800 PRO Tiller for ILCA – Ultra Stiff Lightweight Racing Design
Optiparts 652800 is a premium racing tiller developed for ILCA and Laser® dinghies, designed to deliver maximum stiffness, low weight, and precise helm feedback.
The tiller is constructed from high-end T800 carbon fibres, using variable wall thickness inside the structure to achieve an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio. This advanced construction ensures exceptional rigidity while maintaining a lightweight profile.
The design includes a recessed section for the stainless steel wear plate and specially engineered end castings to achieve the lowest possible traveler settings, improving ergonomics and control during racing.
With a slim profile of only 13.5 mm thickness and 26.7 mm width, and a total weight of approximately 335 grams, the tiller provides a highly responsive and direct steering feel.
The tiller is supplied with a releasable joint for easy connection to an existing tiller extension and is fitted with an aluminium Clamcleat.
