Optiparts 652306 – Aluminium Tiller Extension 16 mm Deluxe with EVA Grip, 60 cm

The Optiparts 652306 tiller extension is a reliable and durable steering component manufactured from black anodized aluminium tube. It offers a strong yet lightweight solution for Optimist sailors requiring consistent performance and ease of handling.

The 16 mm diameter provides a balanced feel between flexibility and control, making it suitable for both training and recreational sailing.

The extension is equipped with a releasable rubber joint (swivel) incorporating a rope core, which ensures safety by preventing complete separation in case of rubber wear or damage. The joint is mounted with an aluminium pin secured by heat-shrink tubing, allowing quick replacement when needed.

An EVA foam grip enhances comfort and provides a secure hold, reducing fatigue during extended sailing sessions.
