The Vetus EPOD100 Electric Pod Propulsion System revolutionizes marine propulsion by combining all key drivetrain components—motor, gearbox, cooling, clutch, propeller shaft, and propeller—into a single integrated unit. This compact configuration eliminates the need for an engine box and traditional shaft line, freeing up valuable onboard space while minimizing vibration and noise. Its submerged propeller also acts as the rotor of the high-efficiency permanent magnet brushless motor, providing direct power transfer and reducing cavitation for quieter, smoother operation.
