The Blue Sea 7622 - ML-ACR Automatic Charging Relay with Manual Control, 12V DC 500A is an advanced solution for managing the charging and isolation of dual battery banks. This relay is designed to automatically combine batteries during charging and isolate them during discharging and engine starting, providing efficient power distribution and protection. It features a 500-ampere continuous rating, supporting high-output alternators, and can operate with minimal current draw (<40mA). The unit also includes manual control for added safety, enabling LOCK OFF capability for servicing.
This model offers dual sensing to monitor both battery banks and includes a magnetic latch (ML) to maintain its state with very low power consumption. The Start Isolation (SI) function protects sensitive electronics during engine cranking, while the Engine Isolation (EI) feature isolates two running engines to safeguard their electronics. With LED indicators for real-time status updates and robust tinned copper studs for maximum conductivity, the Blue Sea 7622 ensures reliable performance in marine applications.
