The Blue Sea 7083 is a 285-Series panel mount circuit breaker rated at 50A for DC systems up to 48V DC. It is designed as a drop-in replacement for 185-Series circuit breakers and combines switching and circuit protection into a single device.
This breaker uses a thermally responsive bi-metal blade trip mechanism with manual reset and trip-free operation, meaning it cannot be held closed after a fault condition. A visible reset lever clearly indicates breaker status. The unit is ignition protected and weather resistant for marine and gasoline engine compartment installations.
