The Blue Sea 7040 187-Series Circuit Breaker is a 60A panel-mount, Type III trip-free breaker that combines switching and circuit protection for DC systems up to 48V. It uses a thermally responsive bi-metal blade, features IP66 waterproof and ignition-protected construction, and is equipped with 5/16"-18 (M8) terminals with 75 in-lb (8.47 Nm) torque. Interrupt capacity is 5000A @ 14VDC, 3000A @ 28VDC, and 1500A @ 48VDC, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
