The Blue Sea 4018 Dual Post CableCap set is designed to insulate battery terminals with in-line dual posts commonly found on top-mount marine batteries. The insulators help prevent accidental grounding of battery terminals and improve safety in marine electrical installations.
This I/O pair includes one red and one black insulator and is suitable for use with 1/0 AWG cables. The CableCaps meet ABYC Small Craft Section E-9, USCG 33 Subpart I, and ISO 10133 requirements for battery terminal insulation and are rated for operating environments up to 105 °C.
