The BEP 710-140A Digital Voltage Sensing Relay (DVSR) provides an efficient and cost-effective solution for automatic charging of a second battery bank. When the voltage on the first battery bank rises sufficiently, the DVSR engages to allow the second battery bank to charge. When charging stops and voltage falls, the DVSR automatically isolates the battery banks to help keep engine start batteries fully charged.

- Safely charges two or more independent battery banks from one charge source (alternator, battery charger, etc.)
- Charges engine start batteries before combining the auxiliary bank for charging
- Helps protect start batteries from being flattened by domestic loads
- Isolates electronics from harmful electrical surges from starter motors

How It Works (12V example)
- Battery banks remain isolated when charging begins
- When charging battery voltage reaches 13.4V, the DVSR engages and combines banks for charging
- When voltage drops below 12.8V, the DVSR disengages and isolates the banks again
