The BEP 1001601 is a marine kill switch supplied as a complete switch and lanyard assembly, designed to add engine-stop safety to boats. It is particularly suitable for older vessels not originally equipped with an engine cut-off system.
The switch operates by immediately stopping the engine when the attached safety lanyard is pulled free. The coiled lanyard can be secured to the operator, ensuring the engine shuts down if the operator is separated from the helm.
