The Actisense EMU-1-BAS Engine Monitoring Unit is an analogue-to-NMEA 2000 gateway designed to convert signals from conventional engine gauges and senders into NMEA 2000 data. It can monitor vital parameters including temperature, pressure, engine speed and fluid levels from up to two engines sharing a common ground. The unit provides 6 analogue inputs, 4 alarm inputs, 2 auxiliary inputs and 2 RPM inputs, operates from 9 to 35 V DC and is housed in a custom IP65 enclosure. Configuration requires a separately ordered NGX-1/NGT-1 interface.

Actisense EMU-1-BAS NMEA 2000 Engine Monitoring Unit for Analogue Engine Sensors
The Actisense EMU-1-BAS Engine Monitoring Unit is a dedicated analogue-to-NMEA 2000 gateway that converts signals from analogue engine gauges and senders into NMEA 2000 data. This allows conventional analogue engine sensors to be integrated into an NMEA 2000 network and their data to be monitored on compatible NMEA 2000 displays.
The EMU-1 can monitor vital engine parameters including temperature, pressure, engine speed and fluid levels. One unit can process signals from up to two engines, provided that the engines share a common ground.
