Ocean Safety Jon Buoy Recovery Module Mk6 White
The Ocean Safety Jon Buoy Recovery Module MK6 is a complete man overboard recovery solution. It allows rapid deployment of a device designed to locate, support, and safely recover a casualty from the water. This system is accepted as a direct replacement for a traditional danbuoy, horseshoe, drogue, light, and whistle as specified by the World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations, where two units would normally be required.
Once activated, the module deploys directly from its container or valise and inflates automatically. It immediately creates a highly visible and stable refuge, keeping the casualty comfortably out of the water. This helps reduce the risk of hypothermia while awaiting recovery. Horizontal recovery is supported, which is especially important for hypothermic casualties and helps reduce the risk of complications or cardiac arrest.
