The Osculati Chain Stopper Deluxe is manufactured from marine-grade AISI 316 stainless steel and is designed to secure anchor chains ranging from 6 mm to 12 mm. The stopper prevents accidental chain release while underway and transfers anchoring loads away from the windlass, protecting it from shock loads and abnormal forces. The quick-release mechanism allows fast engagement and disengagement when deploying or retrieving the anchor. Available in versions for 6/8 mm and 10/12 mm chains with base dimensions of 60 × 50 mm and 80 × 70 mm respectively.

The Osculati Chain Stopper Deluxe is designed to secure anchor chains and prevent unintended anchor rode release during navigation or while at anchor. Manufactured from marine-grade AISI 316 stainless steel, it provides excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability in marine environments.
By transferring anchor loads away from the windlass mechanism, the stopper helps protect the windlass from shock loading, jerking forces and abnormal stresses generated by anchor movement and vessel motion. The quick-release design allows fast operation whenever anchor deployment or retrieval is required.
