The Douglas Marine Bow Shield is designed to protect the bow from impacts, abrasion and wear caused by anchors and anchor chains during anchoring operations. Manufactured from mirror-polished AISI 316 stainless steel, it provides excellent corrosion resistance together with long-lasting protection in demanding marine environments.
Manufactured from 2 mm thick stainless steel, each shield features a pre-formed profile that adapts to different bow shapes during installation. Countersunk mounting holes allow secure permanent mounting while maintaining a clean, professional appearance.
Suitable for both sailing yachts and motorboats, the Bow Shield helps preserve the gelcoat and hull finish by protecting high-wear areas around the bow roller and anchor handling zone.
