Marine engines receive water for cooling from the outside and pump it through the cooling system. The cooling water is then removed together with the exhaust gases through an exhaust pipe, the diameter of which must be sufficient to discharge water masses often exceeding hundreds of liters. Modern marine motors are sensitive to pressure - another reason for choosing the maximum diameter of the exhaust hose. The use of water separators reduces the diameter and length of the discharge hoses. Particularly important is the use of separators in diesel generators that generate high noise. In the evening, when the noise of the surf subsides, the rumble of the exhaust hoses of these generators will haunt you. The water separator separates the exhaust gas from the cooling water. Exhaust gas is discharged by the flow above the waterline, and spent cooling water is discharged under it. And it's all silent!
The HMI MS4000/5000 water separator is made of solid heat-resistant materials using the air blowing method. This made it possible to provide a quality product at a low cost. Noise reduction rate - up to 65 per cent!
The new Halyard water separators have 7 important advantages:
. Installation on any of the aircraft
. Set both horizontally and vertically
. High exhaust pipe arrangement
. No Joints and Seals - There's Just Nothing To Do
.High melting point. Despite the fact that the separator is located immediately behind the silencer, the heat-resistant material prevents it from melting
. Separator design ensures complete separation of gas from water
. Attractive value for money
